The highly anticipated event will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the opulent Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando, with a reception at 5:00 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m. Since its inception, ONYX Magazine Men of Honor has led the way in recognizing Black men in Florida and beyond who do exceptional work in their varied disciplines. Educator and civil rights activist Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune referred to such men as “the tallest trees in the forest,” men who were committed to creating a better world for all people.
